The Vision Behind Parrhesia

Panayia Philippou - Founder & CEO

Parrhesia was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: every person deserves to be heard.

I am committed to creating accessible mental health and wellbeing services inspired by the principle of open, honest, and judgment free expression. Parrhesia was established to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can express themselves freely, access professional support, and become part of a community built on understanding, acceptance, and human connection.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at European University Cyprus. My academic background also includes an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Psychology from the University of Greenwich and a BA in Criminology and Sociology from Sheffield Hallam University.

These studies have shaped my understanding of human behaviour, wellbeing, vulnerability, and the importance of accessible support systems.

Parrhesia represents more than a platform. It is a commitment to fostering a culture where conversations about mental health are met with compassion rather than stigma, and where individuals feel empowered to speak openly about their experiences.

Our Vision

A world where emotional wellbeing is understood as part of the human experience, and nobody feels alone in what they carry.

Our Mission

To build a community where people are not judged for what they feel, but supported in expressing it.

Because every voice deserves to be heard.

Who is Parrhesia?

Parrhesia is not just a platform.

It is a voice.

It is the moment you say what you’ve been holding inside.

Without fear. Without shame. Without shrinking yourself.

In a world that teaches you to stay quiet,

Parrhesia reminds you to speak.

Because whatever you feel deserves to be heard.
